SkyVault Creator Terms — Summary
Plain-language summary for the beta. This is not legal advice and is not a legal determination of authenticity.
1. You keep ownership
You retain ownership of every capture you upload. SkyVault stores and presents your work and helps you monetize it; it does not take ownership of your media.
2. Rights warranty
By uploading, you warrant that you own or have the rights to publish, sell, and license the captures you submit. Do not upload media you do not have the right to use.
3. What verification means — and doesn't
SkyVault vaults your original file, computes a deterministic SHA-256 hash, reads available metadata, records the processing and AI steps you declare, and assigns a rules-based trust label. Trust labels are informational and explainable from stored records. SkyVault does not claim legal-grade evidence and does not claim extraterrestrial proof. Labels distinguish user-declared, system-extracted, and admin-reviewed data.
4. Processing & AI disclosure
Processed media is never labeled as a raw or vaulted original. If you used AI for enhancement, captioning, cleanup, or interpretation, you must disclose it; AI outputs are stored as assisted suggestions, never as proof.
5. Privacy & location
Your exact capture location is private by default — only a coarse location band is shown publicly unless you opt in. Buyer details in license requests are never shown on public pages.
6. Monetization
You may offer paid drops, a creator subscription, and accept manual license requests. Payments are processed by Stripe; platform fees are disclosed. Buyer access to paid media is granted only after payment is confirmed.
7. Disputes & takedown
SkyVault may review captures and can downgrade a trust label, flag a dispute, or take a capture down (removing public visibility while preserving the internal record) when an automated check or review finds a material issue. Material changes are logged and you are notified.
8. Conduct
No sensational or misleading claims. Anomaly/UAP content, where supported, is private or reviewer-only by default and "unexplained after review" never means "extraterrestrial."
